12月18日，我校在无影山校区举办“第一届中外教师外语教学研讨会”，学校外籍教师和中方教师欢聚一堂、各抒己见，共同分享、研讨外语教学经验及方法。副院长徐晓红出席并主持研讨会。
研讨会上，外事处及外国语学院领导对外语教学的现状进行了阐述。中外教师结合自身的教学经验围绕现在课堂存在的问题以及如何提高学生课堂参与度、新型课堂教学技术与媒介应用以及中国传统文化与教育制度对学生的影响等进行了发言和讨论，交流分享了外语教学的有益经验并对存在的问题提出了整改建议。
徐晓红对本次教学研讨会的意义作了总结，鼓励中外教师经常进行类似的教学交流与研讨活动，进一步提升课堂教学和课后辅导的效果。
